An honour as Squadron President to join 1350 Squadron (Fareham) Air Training Corps for their Annual Formal Inspection. The cadets as always a credit to the Corps. Delighted to join my colleague Andrew Gibson at Calshot to wish him well on his epic ride to Barcelona to support Cancer Research UK. An amazing challenge and one in which I know he will succeed. Also good to meet Sharon Cruse to whom the event will mean so much.

Fascinating visit to the £750m IFA2 project at Solent Airport with project lead David Luetchford. Due to open next summer Fareham’s largest ever infrastructure project will exchange electricity with Europe via Caen ensuring the lights stay on in the UK. Those transformers are enormous!
