New facilities at Calshot Outdoor Centre

I was delighted to open the amazing £320,000 new facilities at Calshot Outdoor Centre along with children from Testwood School and local County Councillor Alexis McEvoy. These include Laser Climb, Take Off, Aero Trek and the Bouldering Cave.

People can come and pay and play and it is not just for children. The Hangar@Calshot is the place to go for learning to climb safely and having fun.

Try It, Learn It, Love It at Calshot!

I was delighted and honoured to be able to open the Sarisbury Athletic Cricket Club pavilion renovation project.

A great time at Sarisbury Athletic Cricket Club at Allotment Road where I was delighted and honoured to be able to open their pavilion renovation project. The pavilion has been transformed within its existing footprint with a large area for socialising.

I am delighted that Fareham Borough Council and Hampshire County Council were each able to award £16,000 grants while the club has poured in its own money and volunteer manpower. I wish them all the best of luck as they head forever upwards in playing success for all ages.

Pleased to be joined by project lead Hazel Oliphant and Hampshire Cricket Board development manager Simon Jones plus SACC Chairman Bob Joyce.

Fareham Borough Council Conservative Group was in a mood to celebrate this weekend

it is 20 years since the Conservatives took control of Fareham Borough Council which had been run for several years by a Liberal/Labour pact which spent money as if it was going out of fashion.

The celebration took place at Portchester Parish Hall and we were delighted to be joined by Councillors past and present as well as past and present local members of parliament (Sir Peter Lloyd, Suella Braverman and George Hollingbery) and County Council Leader Roy Perry.
