Good to meet former Portsmouth footballer Linvoy Primus with Steve Thomas from Whiteley Wanderers Football Club to discuss how Fareham Borough Council may be able to assist with an exciting football development project involving 3G pitches.

One of the best y-CAT (young people’s Community Action Team) meetings held with Y-Services in Whiteley Community Centre with nearly 50 young people. A huge number of insightful questions on many topics including housing and the environment, education and traffic. And the pizza to follow was good too!

I was delighted to open the amazing £320,000 new facilities at Calshot Outdoor Centre along with children from Testwood School and local County Councillor Alexis McEvoy. These include Laser Climb, Take Off, Aero Trek and the Bouldering Cave.

People can come and pay and play and it is not just for children. The Hangar@Calshot is the place to go for learning to climb safely and having fun.
