A long-term project for Premier Marinas at Swanwick has been to relocate the boatyard to the Bursledon end of the site and replace the dilapidated units with new buildings. The first of those buildings is now complete and work will start soon on the other one. There is also a new dock, hoist and fuel berth. Next stage will be a fresh planning application for a reduced size (on that already permitted) pavilion building to house a restaurant as well as the housing next to The Hard at Swanwick Shore, plus some agreed works to enhance The Hard.
